This week we signed a broad agreement to re-platform 300 brands of a major consumer staples co. to @vercel. @v0 was key in showing their teams that AI can massively accelerate migration timelines. Now that the v0 model API is open[1], anyone can write migration workflows for codebases of all sizes. The vast majority of the world runs on legacy software. Companies know how much greener the other grass is, but it’s so difficult to justify the migration time and pain. I think we’ll look back on the automated translation between languages / frameworks as one of the valuable contributions of LLMs to the industry. [1]
