I've been testing out the upcoming @v0 agent release and… I've never had so much fun 😁 Using a @sketchfab 3d model, I was able to guide v0 to do a pretty good rendition of Stripe Press, one of the coolest sites on the internet. One of the things you'll notice this week is that you can be much more ambitious & 'full stack' with the things you ask v0… it makes *a lot* fewer mistakes. Just like any AI, it won't perfectly nail everything and you'll have to provide feedback, but at no point did it get stuck in a *programming* sense. It had to do some pretty hard things to render this book. For instance, the Sketchfab model didn't have "UV mappings", which as I've learned, is the geometry that describes the 'target' of a texture. I generated the textures using AI itself (FLUX by @bfl_ml is quite insane). Then v0 had to do a lot of tricky math to decide which parts of the geometry constitute the "front" of the book and the "back" of the book. I got to learn a lot from building this even though I actually didn't write a single line of code, which is a testament IMO to the power vibe coding gives you. I think we'll see a lot more 'custom' experiences on the web in the coming years, from ecommerce to content, using 3D (threejs), generative video & images, and 3d worlds.
